We need smart development in the downtown core to promote a safe and positive vibe for shopping, housing and recreation.

Promote and support our existing industries – farming and filming

Encourage “Green” initiatives in business and reduce the environmental impact of our city

Make Maple Ridge attractive to other industries like high-tech and corporate offices

Reduce average commute times by building a sustainable job environment that supports families

We need to address the ever increasing issues around land taxes that are skyrocketing, making sustainable familiy living impossible.

The council should be held responsible and by reining in the spending they need to do more with less.

Maple Ridge is blessed with abundant natural beauty and we need to promote eco-tourism and outdoor recreations such as boating, hiking, biking, etc.

Eco-tourism is on the rise and Maple Ridge should seize the opportunity to build a framework for managing our natural resources to balance their income potential while still maintaining them in a way that our grandchildren will enjoy for years to come.
